Nintendo Wii in Black releasing on May 9

Are you all getting bored with your or have you not yet got a . Well, next month you may get a chance of getting in Black.

Several sources such as GameStop confirmed that the Ninitendo in Black will be available by May 9th in the and by May 23rd in Canada.

The color has only been changed. The other functionality is the same as White Wiii.

However, the Black bundle will carry a Black Remote, Sports, a copy of Sports Resort and a MotionPlus upgrade.

The bundle will be tagged at $199.

We all know that DS handheld reached to record high sales in a very short period of time. It was launched in 2004. In 2006 it became the fastest selling gaming unit in the history of Japan. It crossed 10 million-units, that too easily.

Not only in Japan, but also in the United States had a strong sales hold. In 2009 the DS sold there 11.2 million units. This was more than 930,000 each month and it is just more than 3,650 DS sales a day.

In the early 1990s, learned that it could market its game system also to the adults by offering puzzle-action games such as Tetris for its Game Boy system.

In 2004 when the company brought to market their DS handheld, it said that it was going after a wider market also.

Reggie Fils-Aime, executive vice president for sales and marketing for of America told once, “We’ve been saying from the start that we wanted to position the DS toward an older audience… but the market didn’t believe that’s where we wanted to go.”
