DS line again leads hardware sales in Japan

The sales of three-models of led the charts of for the week ended May 23 reveals latest sales charts. The chart says that week-on-week the overall were stagnant.

Including the LL, and , the total sales were 26,145. The previous week it was 28,564 unit.

During the most recent week the segregation of the sales are as given below:

LL - 14,108

- 9,356

- 2,681

The -3000 of Sony led individual platform rankings. It was sold 23,313 units, which was down from the previous 24,475 units.

Initially in this month the sales was double with the release of Konami and Hideo Kojim’s Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. The total line sold more than 61,000 units.

On Friday the Co. reported that 15,879 units of LL were sold units and it ranked No. 3 hardware between the time period of May 10 and May 16.

In the same period 9990 units of were sold.

For the week the was sold by 2,695 units.

The ranked No. 1 and it had sold 24,475 units and the go sold 871 units. It was ranked at No. 9.

better known with the two 4.2-inch LCD screens and each of it is 93 percent larger than the handheld. It also features 2 digital cameras. It has improved battery life and comes with larger stylus.

PSP tops the Nintendo retail sale chart
