Nintendo expects good sales during Christmas holidays
November 13th, 2010
Christmas is the season of giving, but it is also the season of buying at some point. Nintendo of America’s President is confident that lots of Nintendo hardware will be purchased this Christmas holiday by gamers.
On Tuesday, while speaking at the BMO Capital Markets Annual Digital Entertainment Conference, the president expects a very good amount of sales performance in November and December.
Last year, in the Holiday season over half of hardware sales were made in November and December and it is clear that Nintendo keeps the hope that history will repeat itself.
The Nintendo 3DS is on the verge of launch and gamers are eagerly waiting to see a Wii successor.
This holiday there are also going to be launched Donkey Kong Country Returns, Disney Epic Mickey and Golden Sun: Dark Dawn.
