Nintendo larger-sized version releasing on March 28

The wait ends. On March 28 Nintendo is going to launch its larger-sized version of the handheld.

Nintendo XL will be available for $189.99. It features a larger screens and stylus. The screen is about 93% bigger than the earlier Lite models.

With the launch, at present, two colors will be available, burgundy and bronze. It will include pre-loaded titles such as , the Web browser, a photo clock and also animation app .

Along with the release fresh two games of the XL: America’s Test Kitchen: Let’s Get Cooking and WarioWare D.I.Y. will also be launched. Here the players will be able to create and share their own mini-games.

Nintendo also unveiled new app that is cartridge-based which transforms into an e-reader. The name of this app is 100 Classic Books and this will include works of William Shakespeare, Mark Twain and many other renowned authors. Additional content may also be downloaded through Wi-Fi.

This new app will be released on June 14 and its price will be $19.99.

The latest version of Nintendo’s blockbuster handheld is now available for six months. Did the handheld carved out new direction for the handheld gaming or it is only an old piece of hardware having few gimmicks thrown in?.

A quick answer for is the worth it?

Nintendo is of course the reigning kings in gaming market of handheld. It has broken ground with legacy ’’ devices of 80s. It’s ’’ became a household name in 90s.

Nintendo has also managed to persevere and dominate the . In 2005 the platform was launched and it is still loved by gamers. It was replaced by Lite. This was much successful and this year we saw the local release, the . Latest of it brings a camera and a new interface.

Next improvement was the replacement of with in the and Lite and further was unveiled by addeding processing power. Finally, the release of . It is a service that is much like and has rewarded the Wii owners with many quality .
