Children famous Enid Blyton’s Faraway Tree series now on Nintendo DS console

Now on DS the famous Enid Blyton’s Faraway Tree series for children will also be available.

Enid Blyton’s Faraway Tree series is one of the most popular among children. The much-loved children’s author penned the novels in 30s and 40s decade. Now it is standing as the test of time in digital format.

Children will now be able to read the series on their DS. As all paperbacks, the pages of the novel will appear in two screens. This will make the reading experience rich along with its sound effects, collect bonus features and games.

This launch on DS is a part of a lager deal between Games and book publishers. will be, as the agreement goes, publishing a series of children’s books on the format. Each of the will be containing about 6 to 8 books and it is priced at 24.99pounds.

A reader only need to plug in the FLIP chip in the DS console and the book is ready.

Books comes to Nintendo DS; Thanks EA

() is bringing books to the DS. The video games giant is developing an innovative new book range for the game that will be called .

This initiative of is so designed which will give children a new way to read their favourite books. It is being designed for all age groups. They are working with few of the leading publishers of the United Kingdom such as Egmont and Penguin.

Each of the title will feature multiple books and it is expected that the first 4 titles will be rolled out in the UK market by 4th of December.

The authors included are Enid Blyton, Eoin Colfer and Cathy Cassidy. The titles which are include in the are The Enchanted Wood, Angel Cake, The Magic Faraway Tree, Silent But Deadly, Artemis Fowl, French Fright and Ghoul Dinners among others.
