Nintendo 3DS succeeding Nintendo DS
Saturday, June 19th, 2010
Over the past 5 years it has been seen that the stock of Nintendo (NTDOY) is on a steady growth and this is not because of the success of Wii. In fact this success of Nintendo was due to the DS handheld video game system released in late 2004.

The fortune of Nintendo also grew after the release of Nintendo DS’ first hardware revision named Nintendo DS Lite.
More than 130 million units across the world has been sold of the various incarnations of the console and it became the best selling video game platform in the history of gaming industry.
But all these only seems to be just a begining. Nintendo unveiled the Nintendo 3DS, the next handheld gaming device.
It was revealed at the E3 event that the Nintendo 3DS will be succeeding the Nintendo DS and it will be a clamshell-shaped handheld device with 2 LCD screens.
