How to Train Your Dragon now in Nintendo

The How to Train Your Dragon for the Nintendo Wii is in fact a continuation of the original Dreamworks film’s storyline. In it the Astrid and Hiccup is seen competing with fellow Vikings. All of them fights for the coveted title of Berk;s premiere dragon trainer. Moreover, just like the DS version of Nintendo, this also manages some of the really true high points. Well, at the same time it also suffers from few missteps.
The portable version is however a turn-based RPG-lite. The Wii is a straight-up fighting game. In it bulk of the plot is being unfolded at the island of Berk’s dragon arena. Here the critters goes up the ranks to fight each tournament’s top trainer.
When you had won a tourney, then you are being allowed to go to the docks and their you can unlock another dragon for your collection. This will keep the rewards coming to you and it will help the players to be motivated.

Best year ever for Nintendo DS, Good year for Nintendo Wii as well

Nintendo has released its sales figures. According to Nintendo, it has been the best year ever for Nintendo DS and a great year for Wii as well.
They have revealed that the two Nintendo DS models- Nintendo DS Lite and Dsi have sold a total combined of 11.2 million units in US in 2009. According to them, it is a new calendar year record for any video game console.
Nintendo Wii has saw sales volumes of 9.6 million units, which is lower by 5.7% as compared to 2008, but still it is an exceptional sales figure. They also told that 18.6% of the units were sold in November and December 2009 which implies that the company can expect good sales in 2010.
The lifetime sales volume of Wii stands at 27.2 million units whereas it is 38.8 million units for Nintendo DS, i.e. it is ahead of Gameboy Advance.

Mad Catz Interactive has announced some of the new peripherals for Nintendo Wii and also for the DS handheld. Mad Catz is widely known for providing accessories for gaming consoles. Most of the new announcements of Mad Catz are related to portable gaming devices.

The Wii of the Nintendo is only getting the Wireless SenseBar. This accessory of it will allow the gamer to pre-set a timer for number of hours they have planned to use the connection. It allows them to converse the power and also to be sure that they can access the service always. This new gadget of Mad Catz is usable with both AC power and also with batteries.
On the other hand, the Nintendo DS and the DSi version are becoming a larger array of add ons. Out of the add ons, most of them are specially designed to protect the device which can get damaged as it is used on the go.

The sales figure of Nintendo is out for the media and game lovers. 26 first party games have sold more than a million copies. The figure shows the sales figure of Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii. This sales chart out for the media and game lovers includes those games that were sold as part of the hardware bundles.

Talking only of Nintendo DS, Nintendogs is presently the most successful software title. Its sales rose to 21.67 million. Since 2005 the pet simulation game has been released in 5 different versions. Other successful games of DS are New Super Mario Brothers, the second at 17.63 million units sold, and Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day, the third at 16.82 million.
Wii Sports was the topper in the Nintendo list. Nintendo Wii games sold 40.5 million copies. This game has surpassed the Super Mario Brothers. Its estimate sale is 40.24 million copies.
Wii Play was second at 20.91 million copies and Wii Fit third at 14.01 million copies. Wii Fit was launched on December 1 2007. With its sales exceeding 14 million, Wii Fit has been an unbridled success. At the time of launch it was not clear how much success this game would get.
