Monday, September 14th, 2009
Fernando Torres, the leading striker of Liverpool, says that his Nintendo DS was never away from his side because he struggled with the lingo.
He had admitted that the popular portable and language software of Nintendo was one of the key tools that have been used by him to acclimatise himself to the British culture after he moved from Atletico Madrid.
In an autobiography Fernando Torres said, “One of the biggest problems I faced when I first moved to Liverpool was the language barrier.”
He added in it that when they we were in hotels and busy preparing for games then he used to watch films in English with the subtitles on. He also further mentioned that the other thing that he always carried with him was the ‘English Training’ on his Nintendo DS – language games and exercises that helped him to develop his English.
Usain Bolt, the fastest man on this earth, recently said that he likes nothing more than a quiet night in playing Call of Duty and also Pro Evolution Soccer.
