Nintendo Wii in Black releasing on May 9

Several sources such as GameStop retailer confirmed that the Ninitendo in Black will be available by May 9th in the and by May 23rd in Canada.

The color has only been changed. The other functionality is the same as White Wiii.

However, the Black bundle will carry a Black Remote, Sports, a copy of Sports Resort and a MotionPlus upgrade.

The bundle will be tagged at $199.

The lifetime volume of stands at 27.2 million units whereas it is 38.8 million units for , i.e. it is ahead of Gameboy Advance.

First time PS3 outsells Nintendo in Japan

For the first time video-game outsold the of in . This data has been revealed by market researcher . It says that for the first time it had happened on a monthly basis in in the month of September. This was the result of the earlier price cut.

According to the data from August 31 to September 27 there were 309,939 PS3s sold. This was a monthly record for the in . ., the -based research firm said that ’s and players sold a combined 297,060 units.
